CONSULTING
We aim to get new products to market in the shortest time possible – to help you keep one step ahead of your competitors. Our project management team can assist you in a number of ways, from the initial product idea through to large-scale production. We will advise you on the selection of materials and the appropriate plastics for the particular component design. We will also assist you when it comes to finding innovative assembly solutions as well as advance quality planning.
PRODUCTION OPTIMAZATION
No mather if assembly line or assembly fixture, everything at WEISS is planned, designed and manufactured inhouse.
DESIGN
We work at state-of-the-art 3D-CAD workstations to create tool designs that ensure your requirements are implemented in the best possible way. Simulation software helps optimise the moulds to suit the appropriate plastics. Assembly facilities and robot systems are largely developed in-house by our own team of experts.
MOULD MAKING
One of the core fields of expertise at WEISS has always been the development and production of all the working equipment needed. Whether injection moulds or complex assembly lines with integrated robots, grippers or automation software, the in-house service provider for mould making and production optimisation plays a key role in the success of the company.
INJECTION MOULDING
Our main role is to manufacture technically sophisticated thermoplastic parts. Highly automated processes independent of human factors produce parts that comply with the highest quality standards. The highlights of our production facilities include a centralised material-drying and conveying system, leading-edge injection moulding machines with automated handling systems, robot-assisted assembly stations and a CAQ as well as a company-wide BDE system.
COMPONENT ASSEMBLY
Reliable assembly processes are relevant to both quality and costs in the chain of component manufacture.
In addition to conventional assembly, our range of services also includes welding, printing, gluing, dosing, conditioning, testing and packaging. We use rotary transfer, linear transfer or robot systems to perform these tasks, depending on the numbers produced, the complexity and the quality requirements.
LOGISTICS
Our High bay racking accomodates more than 1.000 palettes for raw material and finishes goods.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
We know no compromises when it comes to quality. Our management system in accordance with TS 16949 guarantees customer-oriented quality requirements. Not a single product leaves our premises untested. Customer support ensures individual pre-series planning – from the initial enquiry to process development and FMEA right up to approval for large-scale production.
