2021

  • 75th anniversary

2011-2020

  • 2011: Inauguration of the new plant in Györ with a production area of 3,500 m²
  • 2013: Expansion of the production area in Györ to 5,000 m²
  • 2016: Expansion of the company premises in Illertissen to 10,000 m²
  • 2017: WZ-Formenbau: 5-axis milling center with automated workpiece changeover CAD/CAM via a shared software platform
  • 2018: New construction of the shipping building with three truck ramps
  • 2020: New construction of the empties warehouse

2001-2010

  • 2003: Construction of a new high-bay warehouse with a capacity of 1,000 pallets
  • 2006: New construction of the dispatch building and parking lot
  • 2007: Certification according to ISO/TS 16949 (automotive standard) and foundation of the subsidiary WEISS Hungaria in Györ

1991-2000

  • 1994: Jürgen Weiss joins the company as the third generation and also becomes part of the management team
  • 1996: Expansion of the production hall to 3,600 m²
  • 2000: Construction of new mold making and assembly building

1981-1990

  • 1982: Bruno Weiss joins the company and becomes another part of the management team
  • 1984: Move into the new administration building with the first technical equipment
  • 1987: Production of the first hot runner tool in the company's own mold shop
  • 1989: Use of the first injection molding robot in production
  • 1990: Relocation of the injection molding machines to a new production hall with an area of 2,500 m²

  

1971-1980

  • 1975: Shift in production to focus on the manufacture of technical plastic parts
  • 1977: Start as a system supplier

1961-1970

  • 1961: Dietmar Weiss joins the company and becomes part of the management team
  • 1963: Start of mold construction for pressing and injection molding tools
  • 1966: Commissioning of the first fully automatic injection molding machine (Anker V-17)
  • 1969: Expansion with a second production hall

 

1951-1960

  • 1955: Relocation to Illertissen with a production area of 850 m²
  • 1958: Construction of an aluminum foundry for our own use
  • 1959: Construction of our first production hall

 

1946-1950

  • 1946: Founding of the wire pen processing company on March 18, 1946 in Kirchberg a. d. Iller by the brothers Benno and Franz Weiss
  • 1948: Foundation of the synthetic resin pressing plant
